75 years of MAF in PNG

MAF was first founded in 1945 by some ex-RAF pilots and Engineers who, after WW2, saw that aircraft could do more than bring death and destruction. They realised that their aircraft could bring life, supporting missionaries and remote people groups isolated by dense jungle and dangerous terrain. And so MAF was born.

In 1951 the first MAF aircraft flew in Papua New Guinea. We are living in the legacy of those early MAF Missionaries. Click on the video to watch some footage of MAF in PNG from 1951 to today…
