Easter Weekend Remote Community Church Outreach

Easter is a bigger celebration in PNG than Christmas. Many Pastors visit Churches in remote communities to share about how God sent His only son to earth, to die, to take the punishment for our sins, so that we can have a personal relationship with the God of the Universe!

Pastor Christine is a widow.  After she lost her husband, she was given the opportunity to go to Bible School.  Now she spends her time visiting different Churches and sharing her passion for Jesus, often through singing and dancing, as well as through sharing from the Bible.

We often see Pst. Christine sharing at various Churches around Telefomin.  Over the Easter weekend, she wanted to share with the community in Ibil, near the Indonesian border.  Christine said she wouldn’t be able to manage the week-long walk over mountains and across rivers, but on Ryan’s plane, the journey took only 20 mins.

It’s such a privilege to be able to facilitate the gospel being shared in remote villages in PNG, thanks to support from people all over world to fund our MAF plane here in Telefomin!
