Working hard or hardly working at HQ…
I (Shiv) have been going to Hagen for a week or so every 6 weeks in order to attend meetings, conduct training with some National staff and have more focused time in the HQ office to get work done. However, I’ve also been taking the opportunities to spend time with friends and get to know new MAF friends.
In April, I had a very productive week in the office, but on Saturday I was introduced to my first ever Taskmaster Challenge! (Those who have watched the UK TV show will understand!) We spent about 4 hours on Saturday, split into Team (Go Ronden Rebels!) to complete a variety of strange and curious challenges, both on an MAF compound and around Mt Hagen. My team, pictured top, centre, we one of 2 teams which drew for FIRST PLACE! CHAMPIONS!!! It was a tiring but hilarious day doing something which is not at all “typical” for PNG life…
